Works-in-Progress (WIP) workshop series: Call for Proposals Organized by: Patrick Brodie, Viviane Saglier, and Patrick Brian Smith GEM Lab
Proposals due: October 16, 2017 First workshop: November 9, 2017, FB 630.15, 5:00pm
Works-in-Progress (WIP) is a new workshop series at the Global Emergent Media Lab starting in the Fall of 2017. The workshop is meant to showcase new and developing projects by the Fine Arts graduate community (and beyond), creating a space for interdisciplinary critique and feedback. The first workshop will take place on Thursday November 9th in the GEM Lab (FB 630.15) at 5:00pm, and will feature a multimedia project by Patrick Brodie and Patrick Brian Smith on the Shannon Free Zone in the Republic of Ireland.
Please send in proposals for future workshops in the Fall semester by October 16th. Proposals for the Winter term are welcome on a rolling basis. Proposals should include the names of the researchers, affiliation, a brief description of the project (250-350 words), and a short outline of the intended presentation format.
