When: Friday, Feb 19th 2021 @ 2-4pm, via Zoom
Organized by Catherine Russell and Rosanna Maule, Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema
This roundtable will address issues of pedagogy in teaching film and media production at the University level through the contributions of filmmakers, researchers, scholars, and alumnae of Concordia University and other Canadian Universities. Speakers will be invited to discuss specific challenges and opportunities they have encountered in their own experience as teachers and students at Concordia University and elsewhere. The event is especially designed to share strategies for success with students registered in our graduate programs in Film and Moving Image and Film Production, and to share thoughts with them about enabling more women to graduate into successful filmmaking careers.
Details and Zoom link will be announced closer to the date of the event.
