Sami Zenderoudi’s short film “GAEA” to be screened at Bar Le Ritz PDB on April 22,

Sami Zenderoudi‘s latest short film, “GAEA”, will be screened at Bar Le Ritz PDB on April 22, 2018 at 8pm!

Film synopsis: amisdt unstable weather, a young skateboarder sees her social life challenged by her growing ecological anxiety.

Sami Zenderoudi is a second year student in Concordia’s MA in Media Studies program, where he is currently completing his research-creation thesis. His films focus on human nonhuman relationships in urban settings. He often experiments in ways of visualizing ecological systems and phenomena, seeking to create non-anthropocentric narratives in fiction film. His previous short, “Follow”, was an official selection at the 2017 Vancouver Short Film Festival.

The doors will open at 7pm. Entry is suggested donation of 5-10$All funds will go towards entering the film into the 2018 film circuit. The screening will be followed by a dance party featuring DJ sets by Canhota and 99 Wolves.
