Distinguished cultural critic and scholar of postcolonial and critical race theory, Dr. Rey Chow will discuss her forthcoming book, A Face Drawn in Sand: Humanistic Inquiry and Foucault in the Present (Columbia University Press, 2021). The seminar is organized around the book chapter "Thinking 'Race' with Foucault." This required reading and a zoom link will be e-mailed to registered participants.
